Catherine Albers offers Introductory, Intermediate, and Advanced Workshops in the Michael Chekhov Acting Technique. In the Summer of 2003, Cathy led a workshop in Amsterdam, Holland for the Michael Chekhov Association. In 2004 Cathy traveled to Groznjan, Croatia to teach at the 2004 International Michael Chekhov Association Workshop and Festival.

These Workshops over Atmosphere, Psychological Gesture, and Imaginary Body, as well as a series of warm-up exercises such as Stacato/Legato, Qualities of Movement and many others. Students should have training in basic acting technique.

Each Workshop is offered over a two or three day period. Fees are structred accordingly.


Cathy offered two classes in the Fall of 2004, an advanced workshop for 8 weeks and a weekend Intensive for those beginning in the Technique. Both these sessions were offered in Cleveland, Ohio.

Cathy taught at Wake Forest University and Elon University, both in North Carolina, in December. Those workshops were introductory classes for the acting programs at those two schools. She finished a three year commitment with the MFA Acting Program at the University of Georgia in January, taking those students through introductory and into advanced work.
